When I was starting out, a few people shared their wisdom, their secrets and in some cases their credibility with me. I haven't forgotten those moments. This site is how I return the favor.

Over the years, I’ve worked on marketing for a couple of people who went on to be on the Forbes 400 list. And for a long list of founders, execs, and entrepreneurs who've built impressive companies, careers and lives.
What I’ve learned from all that? Marketing is rarely about genius. It’s about clarity, consistency, and knowing how to test your way to the truth.

This writing isn’t like the hundreds (or thousands?) of ads, landing pages, fulfillment pieces, and mailings I’ve created. Those were designed to convert. This is designed to help — you.

Teachable Moment: this is an example of Borrowed Interest. You can get people to look at things they'd otherwise ignore if you show something they like intrinsically. Babies and dogs are some of the best.
